Immigration Litigation Field Program (E). 4 credits

Catalog description

Offered in partnership with the Legal Aid Justice Center (LAJC), the field program will give students an opportunity to represent clients in a range of immigration litigation matters before the immigration court in Arlington, the Board of Immigration Appeals in Falls Church, the federal district court in Alexandria, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. The field program will be year-long (fall and spring semesters) with students earning four letter-graded credits each semester (for eight credits total). Two credits each semester will be in-class credits, and two credits will be out-of-class.Offered by Law. May be repeated within the degree for a maximum 9 credits.
