Catalog description

Students apply and are placed in a variety of public and private sector employers in Northern Virginia. The program places emphasis on litigation opportunities, including work in judicial chambers, local government, nonprofits, and family law, civil litigation, and criminal defense firms. The program is offered year-round, and students earn 3 credits out-of-class credits for 180 hours of field work completed over the course of a semester. Space is limited. Must have completed first-year of law school and other ABA requirements to enroll.Offered by Law. May be repeated within the term for a maximum 6 credits.
