Catalog description

Examines Italian culture in its urban, regional, national, and diasporic manifestations. Analyzes authentic texts, from literature to journalism, in the spirit of a cultural studies approach. Fosters advanced reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills that will enable students to understand and critique contemporary Italy with greater ease and sophistication. Offered by Modern & Classical Languages . May be repeated within the degree for a maximum 9 credits.
