Introduces students to the fundamentals of Conservation Biology, a discipline that merges taxonomy, natural history, and ecology with “resource” management and restoration ecology, set within a socio-economic, historical, political and legal context. Includes interactive lectures, readings (including a text and primary literature), discussion, group projects, and inquiry-based experiential learning. Offered by School of Integrative Studies .
