Catalog description

Provide students with foundational principles, informatics tools, methodologies, data sources, terminologies, and policy issues as they relate to the emerging field of population health informatics. Students will review the historical and contemporary aspects of public health practice. Examines key concepts related to registries, electronic health records, epidemiological databases, biosurveillance, and quality reporting in population health management.
