This course examines the nature, use, and influence of theories and conceptual frameworks within higher education research. The goals of this course are two-fold: 1) to engage a survey of theoretical concepts that have been applied to contemporary issues and questions in higher education research and 2) to help students develop theoretical grounding as an educator and researcher.
