Catalog description

Prepares doctoral-level students for the field comprehensive exam in their program of study, and builds knowledge and skills in a specific or individualized health related topic. Designed for doctoral-level students, this independent study course is built by the student with the advice of the potential independent study faculty/dissertation director. It may involve data analysis, synthesis and/or evaluation of research evidence, theory and/or exemplary practice in an area of inquiry or scholarship depending on the student’s program of doctoral study. Offered by Hlth Admin, Policy/Informatics . May be repeated within the degree for a maximum 18 credits.
