Discusses the nature of causation and alternative means of inferring causal relationships. Included are experimentation, matching, instrumental variables, conditioning, and mechanism in network models. Covers a broad range of methodological considerations that emerge in identifying causal effects. The focus is less on analysis of data and more on considerations of causal inference in non-randomized study design. Offered by Hlth Admin, Policy/Informatics . May not be repeated for credit.
