Catalog description

Introduces the principles and techniques of data visualization with special focus on applications in healthcare. Students will learn practical skills to make visually appealing graphics on web browsers to present their data using a publicly available JavaScript library D3 (Data-driven documents). Notes: Assumes that students have baisc knowledge of the web, browsers, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript programming. Offered by Hlth Admin, Policy/Informatics . May not be repeated for credit. Equivalent to HI 777 .
