Examines the foundational laws and policies designed to establish and protect civil rights and individual liberties in the U.S. and strategies used to promote and enforce these protections. Students will explore key constitutional protections, including First Amendment freedoms (speech, press, assembly, association, and religion), the right to privacy, and equal protection under the Fourteenth Amendment.Offered by Schar Govt/International Affrs.
