Emphasizes asking clear, researchable questions and answering them with appropriate evidence. Studies qualitative and quantitative approaches, including survey design and analysis, government archives, case studies, and journal interpretations. Examines the ethical implications of information technologies. Notes: Required for all majors in government and international politics, international security and law, and public administration.
