This course presents the theory and practice of Location Science - the study of the optimal or near optimal spatial location or allocation of facilities, routes, personnel, or other assets. A variety of algorithms and heuristics for location problems is presented. Lectures and both in-class and take-home exercises reinforce students' mastery of the techniques and understanding of advanced theoretical issues. Offered by Geography/Geoinformation Sci .
