Examines growing concerns related to global environmental issues and problems they pose to domestic, foreign, and international political institutions. Covers major environmental issues including global warming, ozone depletion, cross-border flow of pollution, and threats to biodiversity. Assesses strengths and weaknesses of traditional political institutions in dealing with these issues and providing for sustainable economic development while limiting environmental damage.Offered by Schar Govt/International Affrs.
