Catalog description

This course offers a practical introduction to machine learning methods for business analytics. Students will learn how to explore and prepare data for analysis. They will also learn core supervised and unsupervised learning techniques, their hands on implementation on an appropriate software platform, and how to interpret results to inform data-driven decisions in business problem settings. A course project is required. Note: Students enrolled in the Business Administration MBA program and the Business Analytics Graduate Certificate should not take this course, since an equivalent course is included in the MBA program.Offered by SBUS Multidisciplinary. May not be repeated for credit. Equivalent to MBA 738 , MSBA 738 .
