This course provides a comprehensive exploration of how organizations leverage information and technology to achieve strategic objectives, enhance operational efficiency, and foster innovation in today's dynamic technological landscape. The course examines the critical role of information systems (IS) in modern businesses, encompassing core organizational systems, emerging technologies, and the strategic, operational, security and business considerations for their effective management. Through case studies, discussions, and practical exercises, students will develop a strong understanding of how managers can make informed technology related decisions that are operationally and strategically aligned with business needs. To this end, this course focuses on strategic and managerially relevant issues pertaining to the use and management of information and technology within an organization.Offered by SBUS Multidisciplinary.
