Catalog description

Students will analyze classic and modern game stories from a narrative design perspective; craft detailed worlds with believable characters and storylines to engage player audiences; and study how player interaction and choice make writing for video games unique compared to other mediums. Through an iterative collaborative approach, focusing on writing as a process, students will put this knowledge into practice through the creation of a game narrative analysis and original game story, with a focus on writing skill development throughout.Offered by Computer Game Design. Limited to three attempts.
