Catalog description
This course will provide an overview of the history, theory and principles of the various processes of Forensic Biology and Chemistry analysis, including quality assurance. General applications of chemistry analysis as applied to forensic evidence will be covered, as well as, the biology and genetics of DNA and the typing systems used in Forensic DNA analysis. The technology and instrumentation used in forensic chemistry analysis and the analysis of biological fluids and DNA will also be covered.Offered by Forensic Sciences. May not be repeated for credit.
