Catalog description

This course will provide an overview of the foundation and history of forensic science. During the course, the various disciplines and specialties within forensic science will be discussed such as biology, chemistry, toxicology, microscopy, odontology, and anthropology. Additionally, the different types of physical evidence and instrumentation encountered in the field will be reviewed. Topics within ethics and quality assurance are also discussed.Offered by Forensic Sciences. May not be repeated for credit.
