Topics such as early days of French cinema, a nouvelle vague, women film directors, Quebecois, African and Caribbean films, selected by type, period or director. Advanced critical research and writing required. Viewing of films outside of class time. Notes: May be repeated for credit when topic is different. Offered by Modern & Classical Languages .
