Analyzes a selection of important literary texts (novel, short story, poetry, and/or theater) and authors in their historical and cultural contexts: the construction of identity through and beyond Negritude, Antillanite, Creolite, and migration. Advanced critical research and writing required. Notes: May be repeated for credit when topic is different. Offered by Modern & Classical Languages .
