Intensive hands-on experience in publishing, including small press publishing, online publishing, international publishing, academic publishing, magazine publishing, literary journal publishing, and others. Provides knowledge and practical experience of professional publishing skills and processes that include editing, business operations, art and design, media and marketing, event planning, web site design and management, and more. Emphasizes collaboration amongst academic disciplines and professional fields and prepares students for any career requiring an understanding of project management and people management processes.
