Explores the theoretical and practical implications of gender in education and within the context of schools. Provides students with a critical exploration of how gender is constructed, conformed, maintained and supported in education. Uses examples from around the world to look across formal, informal, and non-formal education during the lifespan of the individual to address historical and structural inequities that affect gender in the space of schools.Offered by School of Education.
