Catalog description

Provides instruction on transcription of advanced braille codes, including mathematics (Unified English Braille (UEB) and Nemeth), music, foreign language, and other specialized codes. Introduces techniques for teaching skills in each code. Explores technology tools used to create braille and tactile materials in addition to other assistive technologies used for instruction in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) content.Offered by School of Education.
