Examines the academic, social, and behavioral characteristics of individuals with disabilities who access the general curriculum, including students with learning disabilities, emotional/behavioral disorders, intellectual disability, autism, and attention deficit disorder. Focuses on etiology, contributing factors, impact on life and family, the challenges of identifying students with disabilities, and the need for intensive instruction, accommodations, and support.Offered by School of Education.
