Examines the social and political forces that shape schools in the United States, how these forces create inequitable systems, and the role of school leaders in disrupting educational inequality through social justice and anti-racist frameworks. Situates the role of stratification, accountability, and market forces in the creation/continuation of opportunity gaps with education leaders as social/political actors within these systems.Offered by School of Education.
