Catalog description

This is an introductory course in image processing and computer vision and is open to anyone with a background in discrete-time signal processing and linear algebra, a basic understanding of probability, and familiarity with Python. It covers the basics of image formation, image capture, the processing and manipulation of images, image enhancement and restoration, image segmentation, object detection and recognition, and object tracking. Other topics may include image compression, video processing, stereo vision, and image stitching. Offered by Electrical & Comp. Engineering . May not be repeated for credit.
