This 8-week course is designed for graduate international students who are studying abroad, emphasizing advanced skill development in graduate-level English for Academic Purposes for reading and writing within their disciplines. Utilizing a multimodal and interactive format, students will complete guided and independent research papers as well as read, discuss and write about excerpts from college texts and academic journals. Notes: In as much as possible, materials for the course will be discipline specific and individualized course goals will be determined by the needs of the students and their cultural experiences.
