Catalog description

Academic language support course for Undergraduate Pathways students taking American Cultures. Designed to increase students' ability to comprehend and respond to readings, discussions, and lectures related to American Cultures. Emphasizes the development of successful strategies for intrapersonal and small/large group communication activities, student familiarity with anthropological and sociological terminology and effective application of reading /annotating strategies. Also listed as PROV 102. Notes: Students must attain minimum grade of C to fulfill program requirements. Offered by INTO Mason . May be repeated within the degree for a maximum 3 credits.
