Introduces students to network and computer intrusion detection and its relation to forensics. Addresses intrusion detection architecture, system types, packet analysis, and products. Presents advanced intrusion detection topics such as intrusion prevention and active response, decoy systems, alert correlation, data mining, and proactive forensics. Offered by Electrical & Comp.
