This course explores the application of Cyber Security concepts in support of advanced manufacturing. The focus is on techniques applicable to Industrial Automation and Control Systems (IACS) against threats to security through unexpected situations, activities or occasions, or through consider assault. Topics include cyber-physical security, establishing causality between cyber execution, physical production, and energy consumption for intelligent efficiency, and detection of cyber threats based on physical process anomalies in advanced manufacturing systems. The course will also cover advanced equipment and product management functions, distributed vulnerability discovery, causality analysis and attack defenses, and Cyber-physical ledger infrastructure. Offered by Cyber Security Engineering . May not be repeated for credit.
