Catalog description

First semester of a two-semester capstone course in the Cyber Security Engineering program. Industry-like experience emphasizing technical, project management, and personal development. Students working in teams will begin to solve a meaningful industry- or faculty-sponsored cybersecurity design problem. Important "real-life" skills such as teamwork, project management, communication, ethics, and engineering will be addressed and practiced throughout both semesters. Projects will integrate the technical material learned in previous courses and industry input. Offered by Cyber Security Engineering . Limited to two attempts.
