Questions and Frameworks in the Arts. 3 credits

This course focuses on a central question which will rotate annually. Students will explore how artists and the Arts respond to theoretical constructs and their operationalization. Students will engage in case study and analysis of artistic and organizational practice and will discuss how artists have innovated and/or opposed these frameworks and examine how theory applies to questions related to historical and current topics. Offered by Coll Visual & Performing Arts . May not be repeated for credit.
