Covers fundamentals including spatial and temporal approximation techniques for partial differential equations, solution of large systems of equations, data structures, solvers of the Laplace/ full potential equation, and simple Euler solvers. Includes two major projects: Laplace solver and 2-D Euler solver on unstructured grids. Students expected to write their own codes. Offered by Computational & Data Sciences .
