Catalog description

Covers computational techniques for solving science, engineering problems. Develops algorithms to treat typical problems in applications, emphasizing types of data encountered in practice. Covers theoretical development as well as implementation, efficiency, and accuracy issues in using algorithms and interpreting results. When applicable, uses computer graphical techniques to enhance interpretation. Offered by Computational & Data Sciences . May not be repeated for credit.
