This course provides a broad introduction to artificial intelligence (AI) and its applications across disciplines in the natural, mathematical, computational, and data sciences. Students will explore the fundamental concepts of AI, examine ethical considerations surrounding its use, and gain exposure to how AI is integrated and leveraged across various disciplines within the College of Science. Through lectures across scientific disciplines, hands-on experiences, and review of case studies, students will develop an understanding of AI's transformative role in modern scientific practice and inquiry.
