Examines diverse meanings of peace, conflict, and violence, and then reviews different issues relevant to understanding peace and conflict, including the sources of war, poverty and economic disparities, and ecological degradation. Other topics to be covered are peace keeping, peace building, sustainable development, ecological preservation, nonviolence, and peace movements. Offered by Conflict Analysis & Resolution .
