Catalog description

This course introduces foundational and emerging concepts in peacebuilding and conflict resolution in interpersonal, community and international contexts. Students will build skills in perspective taking, critical thinking, conflict analysis, and dialogue as they actively explore complex and contentious issues and possibilities for constructive engagement and peacebuilding. Roleplays and simulations provide a vehicle for students to practice identifying relevant information, analyzing opposing views, formulating options, and effective communication. Offered by Conflict Analysis & Resolution . Limited to two attempts.
