Catalog description
This course will address the need for developing and deploying interactive applications and software systems that are accessible for users with diverse needs. The course will focus on how developers and designers must consider diverse user abilities and assistive technologies early in the implementation process. Students will learn about accessibility guidelines, how to evaluate and improve the accessibility of a system, and how to implement web applications considering universal design principles to ensure that interactive technologies become accessible for a large range of users. Offered by Computer Science . Limited to three attempts.
