This course covers the fundamental principles necessary to analyze the responses of structures subjected to dynamic loads such as blast, earthquake, rotating machinery, etc. Idealized linear structural models subjected to free vibrations, harmonic vibrations, and impulsive loadings are presented. Practical applications of structural dynamics for solving simplified problems in blast and earthquake engineering are included. Offered by Civil, Environ & Infrastr Engr .
