Catalog description

Examines the legal principles associated with the construction process. Introduces legal and project delivery concepts and review of the rights and responsibilities of construction project participants. Topics include the application of differing site conditions clauses, delay claims, termination rights, remedies for breach of contract, and dispute resolution techniques. Also includes review of industry legal issues, such as principles of risk management, LEED liability, and design-build contracts. Offered by Civil, Environ & Infrastr Engr .
