Catalog description
The objective of this course is to provide students with practical experience in civil, environmental, and infrastructure engineering through a structured internship. Students will apply core civil engineering principles in areas such as structural design, geotechnical analysis, transportation systems, water resources, environmental compliance, and construction management within a professional setting. The internship offers hands-on exposure to real-world infrastructure projects, including site development and public works, while developing technical, analytical, and professional communication skills. This experiential learning experience prepares students for entry-level civil engineering roles and strengthens their professional network within the industry.
