Catalog description

This course covers the design of both temporary and permanent earth-retaining structures, along with slope stability analysis in geotechnical engineering. These topics are fundamental to civil engineering practice and are taught based on earth pressure and limit equilibrium theories. Additionally, practical insights drawn from real-world field experience are also integrated throughout the course, with intention that the material learned may be directly applicable to professional design practice.
