Catalog description
This course is designed for students who have an interest in human female reproductive anatomy and physiology. Material will cover a variety of related topics including an introduction to endocrine system function, anatomy of reproductive system, hormonal regulation of uterine and ovarian cycles, meiosis, fertilization, development of reproductive structures, physiological changes during pregnancy, parturition, postpartum, and with age. Factors that affect fertility and selected pathologies will also be discussed. Offered by Biology . Limited to three attempts.
