Catalog description

This course provides and advanced and unifying treatment of the fundamental field equations describing the laws of continuum biomechanical systems including solids, fluids and transport phenomena in biological systems. Topics will include: blood and circulation, viscoelasticity, poroelasticity, thermoelasticity, and molecular and convective transport in biological systems. Offered by Bioengineering . May not be repeated for credit.
