Catalog description
The capstone course provides the students with an opportunity to utilize the experience and knowledge from their prior course work to conduct a thorough design, development, or research effort. Students will work in small teams to complete a project from within a variety of domains including health, security, finance, human resources, and others. The projects will utilize tools and techniques from leading-edge technology areas including Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data/Predictive Analytics, Cloud Computing, Cyber Security, and other current and impending new technologies. The course instruction will also include presentations on effective methods and best practices for management, communication, presentation, and other professional skills required for the successful implementation of the capstone project and other similar industry projects. The course is conducted in a seminar format and includes research, design, development, class discussions, and presentations. Offered by Info Sciences & Technology . May not be repeated for credit.
