2 Lab Hours 3 Credits 3 This course introduces the basic principles of solid state electronic equipment as found in many electrical and motor control circuits. Emphasis is placed on fundamental concepts of diodes, transistors, FETs and MOSFETs as they are used in electrical control circuits. Upon completion, students should be able to explain the basic operation of these solid state components and be able to perform basic troubleshooting tasks.
