Includes Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) coding system and the study of hospital based reimbursement issues. Uses a microcomputer and software to apply medical coding procedures. (Computer/Digital Literacy and HIT 109 ). Minimum grade of "C". Minimum grade of "C". Lecture: 2.0 credits (30 contact hours). Lab: 1.0 credit (30 contact hours).
