Catalog description

Mastery of the use of biophysical agents under the physical therapist plan of care. Understanding tissue healing, pain theories, indications, contraindications, and safe patient positioning to guide effective physical therapy interventions. Data collection and communication to optimize patient care, emphasizing safety and evidence-based practice throughout. Prerequisites: A grade of C or better in (PTA200, PTA204, PTA209, and PTA217) or permission of the Program Director.
