Introduction to major components and functions of residential heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (H.V.A.C.r) systems, to include heat flow and basic electrical concepts. Examines federal laws, standards and procedures for the preparation to complete the certification for the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) SECTION 608. A grade of C or better required in all Prerequisites. Prerequisites or Corequisites: [(CON103 or CON271) and (CON102 or (CON102AA, CON102AB, and CON102AC))], or permission of Instructor.
