INTRODUCTION TO APPLIED STATISTICS

Catalog description

3 semester credit hours This course will provide learners with an overview of applied statistics for use in diverse settings from an analysis-of-data viewpoint. General concepts of basic statistical tools including research design, organization and display of data, elementary probability, descriptive and inferential statistics, hypothesis testing, confidence intervals, analysis of variance, correlation and regression, and select nonparametric tests will be addressed in terms of practical application.
